It got to nearly 75 degrees here today in Oklahoma, which is very warm for this time of year. Since Jerry took his vacation time this week and we were our running errands we decided it was much too nice a day to waste running in and out of stores or sitting in the house so we went to the zoo. It's actually been a few months since we've been to the zoo even though we have a family membership. It really was a nice day; most of the animals were out enjoying the nice weather so we saw lions, tigers, cougars, cheetahs, rhinoceroses, hippopotamuses, sea lions, seals, and a bunch of other animals.
There was a group of Amish people walking around and Zachary insisted they were Pilgrims, which seemed quite appropriate for the time of year :)
Even though it was a very nice day and I do like warm weather and absolutely despise cold weather, I am ready for more seasonal weather because all of this hot one day, cold the next is triggering migraines nearly daily and my migraine medication doesn't seem to be stopping them.
