Our Fish

So we let the boys buy a fish tank and fish with their piggy bank money. They love their fish!

Since this picture we have added more fish and put a "Nemo" background on it (it's not Nemo but the boys think it is so we'll just go with it).

Zachary even named every fish plus the plecostomus and ghost shrimp and their names are:
Pink Glo Fish - Ginger
Green Glo Fish - Kyler
Orange Glo Fish - Wayer
Zebra Fish - Dump Truck Con
Neon 1 - Pierton
Neon 2 - Turtle
Ghost Shrimp 1 - Sea Star
Ghost Shrimp 2 - Shrimpy (this one was with daddy's help)
Guppy 1 - Fred
Guppy 2 - George
Plecostomus - Monster
Albino Catfish 1 - Mrs Hoffmeir
Albino Catfish 2 - Mrs Rakett.

We've had a full tank for about a week and got our first fish about 3 weeks ago, no deaths to report so far!

1st Day of School

Zachary started pre Kindergarten on the 20th and everything went great! Only 16 more 1st day of school drop-offs left (Kaleb graduates in 16 years). Zachary loves his teacher, Mrs. Rakett and asks everyday when he wakes up if he gets to go to school today. He's already talking about when he turns 5 and gets to go to all day kindergarten.

This picture is Open House when Zachary got to meet his teacher and new friends. He is standing in front of his box in his classroom.

SAHM

So this is week 1 of staying home with the boys. So far we made jello jigglers (which Zachary calls jelly beans), we cleaned the boys room and most of the house. The boys have napped both days so far, Monday they didn't fall asleep til nearly 4pm and Tuesday they fell asleep around 1pm, so we're making progress.
It is a lot harder to keep up with activity with Primerica while staying home but once Zachary starts school on the 20th I am sure it will be easier. If not, I'm not concerned with it taking another year to really build up momentum.
Jerry put in for a transfer, I think he put in for Seattle and Chicago another one that might open is Amarillo. I'm torn on what I 'want'. I'm so ready to leave Oklahoma but staying here means free preK and all day kindergarten, which would be nice. Moving to Amarillo means lower cost of living, 4 hours closer to California and Colorado and only about a 5 hour drive to Albuquerque (we like to take weekend trips there). Chicago still appeals to me but the cost of living is a lot more and Seattle is just different, I've never been there, it could be nice. In any event we'll only be staying where ever we move for as short a time as possible - mostly waiting for a position to open in Colorado, I don't see us living in Amarillo, Seattle or Chicago for more than 5 years.
